Our Story

Hello, my name is Cheri Walston.  I began baking many years ago with my grandmother.  I watched her make pie dough and begged her to save me enough to make a mini-cinnamon roll.  That grew into a passion for baking.

Over the years, I baked for family and friends.  I would bake pies, cakes, and cookies and take them to work with me.  My co-workers would scurry over to see what I brought and everything would quickly disappear.  I had thought many times I wish I could bake for a living since I loved it so much.  In June 2011 I lost my job and I decided it was now or never to own my own home-based bakery.  I started baking for family and close friends and my vision of owning a bakery soon became a reality.

I took some local cake decorating classes to give my cakes that "professional" look.  I soon realized I enjoyed decorating as much as I enjoyed baking.  You will be able to view some of the cakes I've had the opportunity to make on the Cake Gallery page.

I can provide you with beautiful and delicious freshly baked cakes, cupcakes, cookies and more.  Only the best ingredients are used for my homemade buttercream or cream cheese icing.  Fondant is also used on many of my cakes.
